External Advisory Committee
The External Advisory Committee is an advisory body composed of researchers external to the UDC, with internationally recognized prestige and extensive scientific and/or technical experience in the direction of research, innovation, or technology transfer projects in the areas of action of CITENI.
Members of the External Advisory Committee are appointed by the Rector or Vice-Rector responsible for research, upon proposal of the Center's Governing Board, for a period of four years which may be renewed.
The functions of this Committee are as follows:
- Advise the Scientific Direction and the Governing Board on the thematic definition and orientation of research carried out in the center, as well as on any other aspect deemed appropriate.
- Assist the Scientific Direction and the Governing Board in monitoring the evolution of research and the center, and in the transfer of research results.
- Periodically evaluate the scientific activity of the researchers linked to the center, and issue the corresponding evaluation reports.
- Provide information on the interest of linking new researchers to the center.
- Annually evaluate the activity reports of the center.
- Globally evaluate the center's activity every four years.
- Provide any reports and proposals deemed appropriate regarding the center's scientific policy.
