Optimisation of the process of obtaining polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHs), biodegradable and sustainable materials with great potential to replace conventional plastics and reduce their impact on the environment.
Preparation of bioprecursors which, in particulate form, will be used to develop different biomaterials (masks, foams for soles and insoles, flexible films and rigid materials for packaging).
Leadership of the preparation, manufacturing and prototyping process.
Control of the biodegradation and composting processes of the materials developed.
